REGISTER FOR GST

1. TAP = Taxpayer Access Point
This service allows you to apply for Goods and Services Tax (GST) using this online registration form.

What Is TAP (Taxpayer Access Point)?
TAP is an access portal that allows taxpayers to manage their own taxes.

What Can I Do In TAP?
In TAP, taxpayers have the ability to update their profile, add or update a correspondence address, and add or update a trade name.

Why Should I Sign Up?
TAP is an easy and convenient way to update account information as well as file your GST return in the near future.

What You Need

  • Business Registration Number and/or I.C. Number
  • A valid email address
  • Total Taxable Supplies
  • Industry codes
  • Bank account information

After You Finish

  • Print the confirmation page for your records.
  • Use the ‘Lookup Application Status’ link on the logon screen to check the status of your application.
  • You should receive an e-mail informing you of your registration approval or denial

2. Apply for Flat Rate Scheme

  • This service allows you to apply for flat rate scheme registration.
  • This scheme will allow the selected industries, which are not GST Registered Persons to charge tax (Flat Rate Addition) at the lower rate than the standard GST rate. Once approved, you will not be allowed to claim the input tax.
    What You Need
    • Flat rate number
    • Business registration number
    • Industry codes
    • Authority reference number

    After You Finish
    • Print the confirmation page for you records.
    • Use the ‘Lookup Application Status’ link on the logon screen to check the status of your application.
